Ingrid Bjorklund is Special Counsel to Mendoza Law, serving the firm’s clients across all of its practice areas but with a focus on regulatory affairs, litigation, cybersecurity and data privacy, and identity theft. With over 20 years of experience working with governmental agencies, Ingrid works with clients to develop effective regulatory and legislative strategies on a wide variety of issues. Her experience includes serving in governmental roles at the Minnesota Legislature, Public Utilities Commission, Department of Commerce, Midwest Reliability Organization, and the Office of Administrative Hearings.
Ingrid’s experience includes negotiating and preparing a water supply agreement for a biofuels company, preparing a receivership filing involving a non-profit organization, assisting a cable communications company with a right-of-way crossing agreement involving a wind farm, an employment litigation matter for a non-profit organization, and representation of a fitness center in a litigation matter where she secured a temporary injunction and successful settlement for her client.
Ingrid possesses strong writing and research skills and is a frequent public speaker. Further, she taught energy law for five semesters at Mitchell Hamline School of Law as an Adjunct Professor.
